X3430 Hs{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}1/LC. 24th. Aug. 1921. The Steam Fitting Co.Ltd., West Drayton, Middlesex. Dear Sirs, We should like to know whether you have a suitable automatic temperature regulator for maintaining a temperature of 150°C. The particular purpose we require this for is, we wish to maintain a constant temperature in an exhaust heated jacket of an induction pipe. The way we propose to do this is to have a shunt off the main exhaust pipe through this jacket. In the main exhaust pipe itself we fit a butterfly valve. Until the temperature in the jacket reaches 150°C, we wish the butterfly valve to remain closed, as soon as this temperature is exceeded, the valve should open. We should be pleased to know whether you have any suitable Regulator for this purpose, if so, we should like to have the dimension of it and any other particulars. Thanking you in anticipation. Yours faithfully, | ||
