Also ascertain from him exactly what body accessories, such as wireless sets, heaters, ashtrays and expensive companions exhibited at Olympia, he has asked them to remove from the body prior to our taking delivery. The dummy chassis on which this body was mounted we understand was sent to Messrs.Lockheeds of Leamington. 7) See that the floor of the body and the carpet, the seat boards, the rear boot and the scuttle have been treated with felt for sound insulation. The front carpet in this case should be supplied complete and finished, as this car was finished off for Olympia. SATURDAY. Delivery. 1) Weight. On the arrival of the lorry arrange for the lorry to be weighed, and also the horse on which the body will be mounted. Then weigh complete lorry, horse and coachwork. The coachwork will consist of the following:- Body complete. Two front wings. Two rear wings. Two platform steps. Instrument board. 2) See that on the lorry after weighing there is put sufficient paint of the finished colour for the painting of the bonnet and any unpainted parts, as well as parts needing retouching.
