Scintilla magneto type A.G.6A
NO. 21523.
This magneto has now been assembled, and although there is no friction at the bearings or between the magnet and pole-shoes, the magneto is exceptionally noisy. Commencing at about 1000 rpm the noise which is an exaggerated rattle develops in intensity as the speed increases. The noise appears to emanate from the bearings, and as Mr Wooby reports that bearings seem worn we suggest that this machine be returned to
