the tests carried out on the high power head both in the single inlet and double inlet valve forms. This is being analysed to determine the policy with respect to carrying out a full scale investigation.

A consideration in connection with this is that if we wished to build an aluminium cylinder block engine with a cast iron liner we do not know if this would operate satisfactorily with part of the joint exposed, which this type of head demands.
