Description of Parts.
FRONT SPRINGS, BRACKETS AND SHACKLES.
Origin.
To suit front wheel brakes.
Experimental Test Report.
The Front springs are made by Firths - they are 43¼" long. The Spring is anchored at the rear end and shackled in front.
Front springs 25% stiffer than present standard.
Road Test Report.
Run 10,000 miles in France on 98-NK.
Run 4500 miles in France on 9-PK.
Run on 35-PK, 92-NK and 46-PK in England total of 6700 miles - no trouble and no spring failures.
Run 250 hours on bumping tests - results better than standard.
