Wor{Arthur Wormald - General Works Manager}1/MS/1/25. 20HP. At a conference held on the 6th inst. at Derby, between C, Sg{Arthur F. Sidgreaves - MD}, and Wor.{Arthur Wormald - General Works Manager} the following was decided:- At the present moment there are approximately 280 - 20HP chassis to build, for which we have instructions. The programme Sales put forward yesterday, and to which I agreed, is as follows:- The first 110 of the 280 should be built exactly as we are now building, at the rate of 11 per week, as soon as the Works are able to increase from 8 to 11. The remaining 170 should be built as follows:- The first 50 should be built 3-speed gearbox, suitable for front wheel brakes, at 8 per week, commencing April 29th., earlier if possible. The second 50 should be 3-speed gearbox, suitable for front wheel brakes, and the last 70 4-speed gearbox, suitable for front wheel brakes, and these second 50 and last 70 will be built together, possibly at the rate of 6 - 3-speed and 2 - 4-speed weekly.
