"Peregrine" Starter Motor.

To enable us to try an armature with varying air gap similar to the Bosch, will you please use one of the armatures which you already have in hand to L.O.P. D.100364, but machine the core in accordance with D.100462. prints of which are attached hereto. This will necessitate a new set of field poles, and we attach prints of D.100461.

We understand this is urgently required and is wanted on the car which Hancock will take on the next 10,000 miles trial.

In addition Hs{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}/Wst. has requested a stronger armature return spring. Will you please have three of these put in hand, in accordance with D.100451, prints of which are also attached.
