To EP.{G. Eric Platford - Chief Quality Engineer} from Hs.{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair} c. to RG.{Mr Rowledge} c. to Wor.{Arthur Wormald - General Works Manager} +9003 Hs{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}6/LG14.11.28. TYPE TEST ON FULL S/C. ENGINE. Y 3196 We understand the only thing which is delaying this test starting is the long duration camshafts. The camshafts which it is intended to use on this engine are at present in the original Parnall Pipit engine which crashed at Martlesham. We understood from Capt. Forsyth some time ago that we could have this engine back any time. If therefore you will arrange to either get hold of this engine or the camshafts, we see no reason why the type test on the F.S/C. should not start immediately. Hs.{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair} | ||
