Dear Sirs,

We thank you for your letter of the 29th ultimo in connection with our invoice 17827 covering the charge of £16 for one 'L7' Type Gear and parts.

In reply we would state that we did not receive an official order from you on your official order form. The parts were delivered by our Director, Mr. Matravers, in accordance with arrangements by correspondence and we would refer you to our letter of the 16th February, reference FGM/AGS/CJ, which was written in reply to yours of the 15th February, reference HS{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}/FJH{Fred J. Hardy - Chief Dev. Engineer}/25/KW.

Reference to the above mentioned correspondence will give you sufficient information to enable you to give consideration to our invoice.
