To "Hs{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}" From A.J.Lidsey. ---------------- I wired you this morning, as follows :- NUMBER SIX PISTON HEAD FAILED CONSEQUENT DAMAGE AT PRESENT ASCERTAINED ONLY TWO BROKEN PUSHRODS BORE AND HEAD UNDAMAGED DISMANTLING ENGINE TO INVESTIGATE FURTHER - LIDSEY. to which you replied :- RECOMMEND YOU RETURN WITH DAMAGED PIECES ALSO BRING WITH YOU BENT FRONT ENGINE SUSPENSION WIRE WHEN YOU WILL ARRIVE DERBY BRING TRADE NUMBER PLATES - HIVES. My reply being as follows :- RETURNING AFTER MAKING THOROUGH INSPECTION RETURN PROBABLE SATURDAY PRESUME EVERYONE IS TO RETURN - LIDSEY.
