We have noted the memo re the American type lock washers. The nuts were quite tight when examined on arrival at Châteauroux and have remained tight at the front end. The rear end has been dismantled twice to examine the axle pinion. The washers were used again on each occasion, and the nuts remained tight. We will keep them under observation during the rest of the running. ------------- Rm{William Robotham - Chief Engineer}/IMW.{Ivan M. Waller - Head of Chateauroux} | ||
