BATTERIES.

It was reported at the Conference with Sg.{Arthur F. Sidgreaves - MD} yesterday, that Mr. Minchin has positively declared that we are undercharging our batteries with the present regulator.

This you will remember I pointed out as a danger from my experience with a lighting set, which I ran and remarked in Conference and to Mr. West that the regulator would need to set to give a high charge in charged condition to prevent battery trouble.

Mr. Minchin gives two years as the life of our battery with present regulator as set and working.

We must treat this as an urgent issue to be settled quickly.
