Increased Tyre Clearance and ¾° Caster. ----------------------------------------- PD.395, attached to Da{Bernard Day - Chassis Design}'s copy, shows the cross steering lever for B.V. giving the increase of tyre clearance of 0.200" as compared with the previous lever, and also the correct ball height for the ¾° caster of the yoke piece instructed in Da{Bernard Day - Chassis Design}/DB.{Donald Bastow - Suspensions}5/N.20.3.39. The lever sections are not altered and the stress in maximum braking conditions is less than that in the Wraith III. lever, even when this lever of PD.395 is subjected to Silver Wraith 80 loading.
