No. 491.
Dec. 2nd.1925.

40/50 HP. "NEW PHANTOMCodename for PHANTOM I" CHASSIS.

OVEROILING.

Since the issuing of Instruction Sheet No. 478, it has been found that the Lodge Detachable type Sparking Plug is an advantage in an overoiling engine, inasmuch as it can be dismantled for cleaning purposes.

This type of plug has been fitted on all "New PhantomCodename for PHANTOM I" chassis leaving the Works since Nov. 7th. 1925, and arrangements have been made to fit this type of plug to all possible chassis standing at Coachbuilders prior to delivery to owners.

Depots and Agents should arrange to have the detachable type plugs fitted to any cars which they have in their hands before delivery to customers. They should also have a small supply of these detachable plugs for fitting in cases of complaint of overoiling.
