BODY ON 15-EX.

I am sorry that so far I have not received any detailed reports on the body of 15-EX. I had hoped that you would have been able to have told us the various mileages at which certain troubles occurred, together with the behaviour of the body in general as the test progressed. If you could furnish us with any of this information we should be very much obliged, as although the sports car programme is out of the question at the moment we have not abandoned our hopes of building light saloons and standard open bodies on the same principle.

With reference to the ironmongery etc, it was the coachbuilders' own effort. We are aware that this is always a weak link in the chain. Thank you for the broken specimen: I do not recollect exactly what it was on the body. It looks as though it might have been the hinge for the forward part of the hinging deck. When the car is back in England I would like to have an opportunity of trying it, with a view to seeing the condition of the body.
