To B.J. from H.{Arthur M. Hanbury - Head Complaints} Copy to P.N. Re:- Phantom Ignition. ---------- Replying to your remark on the attached, the following list of cars represents complaints of burning out of platinum points:- 50-RC{R. Childs}, 90-RC{R. Childs}, 42-RC{R. Childs}, 54-MC, 24-RC{R. Childs}, 11-MC, 14-RC{R. Childs}, 95-MC. 37-RC{R. Childs}, The above were during the last two months. Previously we have records of:- 59-MC, 7-MC, 118-MC, 93-MC, 38-MC, 79-RC{R. Childs}, 50-MC, 49-RC.{R. Childs} 51-MC, Apart from these, I am conscious in conversation with various drivers on the Riviera, of having heard from them that beyond having to renew platinum points possibly in Paris or at Nice, or by using their spares, they had not had any difficulty. I regret at the time I did not keep a record of these, but you will understand that these are often casual conversations with drivers whom I may find drawing up to the door of an hotel or casino, and immediately leaving.
