This machine does not compare favourably with the Bosch in running, nor is it as good as the B.T.H. magneto; but is slightly better than the Simms. It is certainly the quickest magneto we have yet received (including the Bosch) by a long way. In comparison of the E.M.F. it is about the same but in comparison of flame. Bosch at 700 Revs. 3 m/m gap 10 seconds. Dixie equal at 2000. Revs. 3 m/m gap 45 seconds. see further. | ||
