The above customer writes asking if he can safely use Mobiloil.E.P., for the rear axle of his car when it becomes necessary to drain the axle of the Whitemore's O Compound after completeing 20,000 miles, and also if it would be in order to "top up" with Wakefield XL oil. I have advised the customer that on no account should he use XL for topping up, but only the oils recommended in the Instruction Book. Graf Radolin explains that it is impossible to obtain these oils in Italy, and equally impossible to import them, since he can only do so by being in possession of an importers certificate. This customer has enquired of the Vacuum Co of Italy of the correct oil for the rear axle of his car, and they advise himthat Mobiloil E.P., is the correct oil for the Bentley rear axle. Would you please advise me if you consider it advisable for the customer to use this oil. Rob Hs{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair} What do you suggest please? HA/SS{S. Smith} 26.8.35 | ||
