To Hs.{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair} from Sg.{Arthur F. Sidgreaves - MD} re P.II Speedometers. Sg{Arthur F. Sidgreaves - MD}3/E2.1.31.

We are proposing to fit speedometers in the future showing up to 100 m.p.h. instead of 90 as at present.

Cx.{Major Len W. Cox - Advertising Manager} has been rather keen on this for some time and says that quite a number of people claim speeds of 90 and over and are disappointed because their instruments stops at 90.

If we adopt this as standard for England, do you think that America would like it as well, and would there be any harm in your opinion if we did so part way through the contract.

Or do you think that it would be best to adhere to the 90 m.p.h. instruments for them for the whole of their contract?
