Dust in Luggage Compartment of B-56-BN.{W.O. Bentley / Mr Barrington}

There has been a lot of discussion with regard to the effectiveness of the dust excluder on the lid{A. J. Lidsey} of the luggage compartment on this car.

From what we can remember, however, the dust in this case may have been coming through cracks in the boards forming the floor of the luggage compartment. We shall be glad if Park Wards could confirm whether this is so or not because as Ev.{Ivan Evernden - coachwork} points out, a very elaborate dust seal may absorb too much luggage room.
