X.8520 X.4046 X.1152 X.235 Referring to your visit to WW. yesterday, as reported elsewhere the first move is to set up the existing friction shock dampers on the Phantom to 50 lbs. at the ball end, and on the 20 HP. to 40 lbs. For future work you are going to test the Derihon shock damper probably arranged (if possible) to work in one direction only. It is understood that the Berkshire shock absorbers have not proved satisfactory on account of leaks at the gland, and that you are now testing the Houdaille. Derby have full instructions from us regarding the R-R hydraulic shock dampers, and presumably these will be got on test as quickly as possible. DA.{Bernard Day - Chassis Design} | ||
