-2- Ha/LH.{Mr Haworth}2/KT.2.1.32.cont'd.{John DeLooze - Company Secretary} and a heavy spring driving load of 30 lbs. at 17.5" radius. This is a big improvement as far as gear rattles are concerned at low speeds full throttle over the standard spring drive setting which according to drawing are - Frictional Load 13 - 15 lbs. at 17.5" radius. Spring drive load 20 - 25 lbs. at 17.5" radius. There is a period of gear rattling at 1500 R.P.M. and this is unaltered in any way by various frictional or spring drive loading. However it is not noticeable on the road. Ha/L.H.Swindall. | ||
