With reference to the attached. We were supplied with a petrol filter having a modified stirrup and clip otherwise exactly the same as standard. We think this is an improvement but shall not bring it on to production until it has done further mileage. At present we conclude that you are ordering the filter which we originally shewed to you and which we decided would be a standard sample. We still think the filter is too heavy but the Zenith people have so far been unable to find a satisfactory alloy for the head.
