OUR REF. FGE/ELG.
YOURS

30th Sept., 1930.

Messrs. Rolls Royce Ltd.,
DERBY.

Dear Sirs,

FOR THE ATTENTION OF MR. ROBOTHAM.

With reference to your letter of the 29th, we will alter the two R.V.60 Thermostats to your requirements, and return them to you as soon as possible.

We should be much obliged if you would make the position clear regarding the filling of the 285 instruments ordered by yourselves: the present position is, that the Writer has given instructions to our works to go ahead with the manufacture and assembly of the R.V.60 type instrument, but to await instructions regarding the filling.

We would suggest that as some of these instruments are required at an early date, it would perhaps suit you to have some delivered with the standard filling, pending the result of your experiments with the modified instrument.

Will you please let us know about this as soon as possible?

We are,
Yours faithfully,
p.p. S. Smith & Sons (Motor Accessories) Ltd.
