To Hs.{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair} from R.{Sir Henry Royce} c. to BJ. BY.{R.W. Bailey - Chief Engineer} 1085. R3/M9.7.27. BONNET SHUTTERS. X.8260 X.1085. We understand it is agreed to delete the back shutters. DA.{Bernard Day - Chassis Design} will provide a less expensive scheme: the original one was made when we could afford less for tools than we can at present. Shutters should be taken off while painting if possible, and paxtu paint in the sliding parts can then be scraped off, and shutters made to work properly. I cannot help thinking I should like to see the end of the front ones also. R.{Sir Henry Royce} | ||
