RE 20 H.P. BONNET. X.3561

We find that in the first rough drawings made of the 20 H.P. Bonnet, the top plates were given a twist, due to the extreme taper in the plan view not being sufficiently balanced by slope, on the top of the bonnet. It will be necessary to make some alteration to take out this twist.

It will be realised that when looking at the bonnet in end elevation from the radiator end, the front and rear edges of the top plates should appear more or less parallel.

As soon as the height of the radiator has been sufficiently settled for this chassis, a scale model should be made in wood of the bonnet, and it should be sent first to Mr. Royce, and then to Mr. de Salamanca.
