X3730 S/W (Hs{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}) C7/LH{Mr Haworth}5.9.21. re Goshawk II Chassis. Hs{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}1/LQ2.9.21. -------- At the present time we have in hand for the Goshawk II a Limousine and a touring body. We have sent to Mr. Royce for approval a drawing of a Saloon Cabriolet and a Landaulet. We do not propose standardising the enclosed Limousine of the type fitted to the Humber, because it is not so popular a type as the all enclosed Cabriolet, as of course the latter can be used as an open car, and also there is no booming. Will you please let me know if the Saloon Cabriolet Allweather type of body will suit you for the tests you require to make or whether for experimental purposes you would like to have the type of body fitted to the Humber?
