We thank you for your memo Br.3/H.23.8.40 and note your remarks etc..

We are anxious to get hold of one of the original 3 1/4 litre Bentley pistons EB.1299. These are split skirt and R.R. produced and were fitted to the first 300 Bentley chassis.

There are none in existence at Derby and, if you have an odd one, new or used, will you please despatch same to Derby Works, marked for the attention of Rm{William Robotham - Chief Engineer}/CTS.{C. Trot Salt - Carburation}, at Clan Foundry, Belper.
