complaints have been reduced. Attention has been paid to the valve guides to lessen the tendency to stick. The fitting of the asbestos packing will also lessen this trouble.

RADIATOR SHUTTERS?

The improved spherical mounting is now fitted which should reduce these complaints.

Item No.27.

SPEEDOMETERS.

Improved details in the manufacture of the speedometers, as a result of correspondence, have made them more reliable.

Item No.28.

REAR AXLE OIL LEAKS.

The present axle is practically free from this complaint. Modifications have been made by drilling return drain holes in the ball race housing. A breather is also fitted to the axle casing.

GEARBOX OIL LEAKS.

These have been considerably reduced, further work is in hand to lessen the tendency for oil leaks.

TAPPETS.

We have very little trouble with noisy tappets, care in the manufacture has deleted the cause.

H.T. WIRE TUBE.

This is being dealt with by W.W.

Item No.32.

MAGNETO H.T. WIRES.

These will automatically be protected by the improved tube, meanwhile a shield can be fitted to cars with a recurrent complaint.
