Wor{Arthur Wormald - General Works Manager}/SMG/L3913. Re Fittings for Show Chassis. X.519 684 Wor.{Arthur Wormald - General Works Manager} 3-9-13. In reply to your memo Wor{Arthur Wormald - General Works Manager}23/T2913, we attach herewith a copy of Mr Royce's original memo that you refer to FHR10/T1813. The Order Office have instructed up the new pattern Bronze Sphere, the removal of the aluminium packing, and the rear shock absorbers. This latter point involves filling up holes in frame, and the Order Office have instructed Clearing House to send a man when the parts are ready to do the above. With reference to the alteration to the High Tension Wiring, it is proposed to take the wiring off the chassis seeing that Mr Royce does not like it, and to leave the chassis in this state until the new system of wiring up - which has not yet been tested - has been passed for standardisation. | ||
