For the attention of Commdr. Matravers.

Dear Sirs,

We have despatched to you the pendulum lever for the steering box you are producing for us. As this forging is not machined you will want to know the finished dimensions of the pendulum, so that you can ensure that we are able to get the required off-set when you have finished your work. We therefore attach drawing F.79770 for your information.

We should be glad to hear how the steering box is progressing, and when we can expect to receive it.

We regret the delay in sending you the pendulum lever but we did not happen to have any forgings in stock.

Yours faithfully,

FOR ROLLS-ROYCE LIMITED.
