BENTLEY CAR FOR FRANCE. It is proposed to send 6.BIV. to France to get information on the following parts:- CHASSIS. X (1) Armstrong rod controlled dampers. X (2) Cheaper rear road springs. X (3) New exhaust system with nickel plated mild steel parts. X (4) Raised front engine mounting to LeC drawings. (5) Hardy Spicer Propeller Shaft. X (6) Schatz bearings in gearbox to reduce cost and length of Wraith box. X (7) Fixed radiator shutters and cheap thermostat. X (8) 'Non crackle' alum. brake drums with Girling rear brakes. Lead linings to prevent squeaks. X (9) Same axle parts that have already run 15,000 miles for further mileage. Pre-loaded bearings. X (10) Widney bonnet. X (11) New ignition coil with better performance at high temperatures, required as soon as possible on 25/30. X (12) Petrol pumps in Frame. (13) 6.50 x 17 tyres on 4" rims, silent pattern tread. X (14) Wraith steering box. X (15) Modified lubrication system for springs. | ||
