RHC.{R. H. Coverley - Production Engineer} from He/Rm.{William Robotham - Chief Engineer} pr He/Rm.{William Robotham - Chief Engineer}5/KT.2.11.32. PEREGRINE FOR FRANCE. - BRAKES. Will you please note, that in the light of recent experiments, the brake specification given in page two of our Hs{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}/Rm.{William Robotham - Chief Engineer}3/MA.27.10.32. chassis item (j) should be altered. The front equaliser levers fitted to the car should now be to the original drawing E.100528/9, and which are 1.625" long. The rear brake equaliser lever should be to Hr.750, 4.200" long as instructed in our Hs{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}/Rm.{William Robotham - Chief Engineer}8/KT.1.11.32. The servo should be re-lined in R.A.D.13. This summarises the specification of the braking system. We should like the levers which are at present on the car to be available for G.W. to take to France with him in case it is necessary for him to make further experiments. These levers are, front equaliser to C.101097/8 2.700" long. The rear equaliser levers C.100533, 2.750" long. He/Rm.{William Robotham - Chief Engineer} | ||
