The procurement and modification of water hose connections for B.III and B.50 chassis.

Will you please note that curved hose connections EB.3748 and EB.3848 are required on each B.50 and B.III chassis. we hand you herewith one hose connection to EB.3748 and expect to receive a connection EB.3848 within the next two days. This can be used for the first B.50 car. Will you please send an official order for the latter connection to the Leyland & Birmingham Rubber Co. and also order the necessary connections for the further two B.III chassis to be built. In addition to the above, we believe there are in the stores a number of short, straight hose connections which are red in colour externally but otherwise satisfactory. Will you arrange with the Order Office to return these to the makers in order to have the exterior black varnished. Roy{Sir Henry Royce}/AW. is familiar with this procedure.
