DODD

For the attention of Mr.Dodd.

Dear Sirs,

When our mechanic returned from your Works last week, he reported that the near-side rear jack was not clear of the chassis on the bounce, and we find it will be necessary for us to remove the two rear jacks and brackets to make the necessary modifications.

We shall be glad if you will kindly advise us as to which day will be convenient for us to send a man to remove the two rear jacks and brackets, unless you prefer to do this for us, in which case, we would advise that it is necessary to remove the two top studs that carry the top jack clamp, before the bracket can be removed from the axle.

We await the favour of your reply which shall receive our very best attention.

Yours faithfully,
pp. S.Smith & Sons (Motor Accessories) Ltd.
