The AC Sphinx Sparking Plug Co.Ltd.,
Dunstable,
BEDS.

For the attention of Mr. Benion Brown.

Dear Sirs,

We are returning under separate cover one of your speedometers which has failed on a 15,000 mile endurance test. On dismantling we found that the trip mechanism had slid out of its bearings, due to the brass locating clips falling out of position.

We have reassembled this and it now functions correctly except that the digits are somewhat out of line.

Will you please overhaul this instrument so that we can carry out further tests.

Yours faithfully,

FOR ROLLS-ROYCE LTD.
