The alteration of speedometer axle ratios for Bentley 'M' Series and Wraith chassis.

BENTLEY CHASSIS - "M" SERIES. WRAITH CHASSIS. The axle ratio of Speedometers on the above-mentioned chassis is being altered, and Bentley "M" Series 100 speedometers are almost completed. Attached is a copy of a letter received from Messrs. A.T.Speedometer Co. dated 12th inst. ref. HRB/MS making a general complaint regarding the changing of gear ratios. From their remarks we gather that when they originally quoted such a low price for the speedometers they were under the impression that the r.p.m. would remain standard for all chassis.
