x 6553 a To Hs{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}/Rm.{William Robotham - Chief Engineer} from Sg.{Arthur F. Sidgreaves - MD} Next 10,000 Miles Sg{Arthur F. Sidgreaves - MD}8/E4.5.34 Car - 3 1/2 Litre Bentley. Thanks for Hs{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}/Rm.{William Robotham - Chief Engineer}10/KW.2.5.34. I note the list of items which it is hoped to clear for the next batch of 200 cars. The next point is: How soon will the car start? I thought that it was agreed at Derby on Tuesday that, as it was very urgent to clear some of the parts for 'C' Series now being ordered and as you had not commenced to-build the next 10,000 miles test car, it seemed advisable to carry out the tests in two halves, i.e. an existing car modified to incorporate the urgent features required for 'C' Series and the second car to follow at a later date-to incorporate the remaining features which would be required for the following series. This, you will see, is made clear on Page 4 of the Minutes of the Meeting. Unless there is some good reason for departing from this idea, I think that you ought to divide the items into two lists for the two cars. Sg.{Arthur F. Sidgreaves - MD} | ||
