Messrs. Rolls Royce, Ltd.,
Derby.

Dear Sirs,

For the attention of A.J. LIDSEY, ESQ.

We beg to acknowledge receipt of your letter of yesterday's date, and we should like to take this opportunity of saying how much we appreciate the very thorough way in which you have tested our silencers.

We are glad to hear that the multitube type has come out so well, and note that your Chief Engineer, Sir Henry Royce, has received a report of your investigations.

It would help us considerably in quoting you a price for a supply of 'A' type silencers suitable for both your 20/25HP and Phantom II models, if you could give us some idea of the numbers required.

Assuring you of our best attention at all times, we are,

Yours faithfully,
For and on behalf of
VORTEX SILENCER CO. LTD.
L.R. Halfin.
General Sales Manager.
