Mr. W. A.{Mr Adams} Robotham,
Messrs. Rolls Royce Ltd.,
Nightingale Road,
DERBY.

1028A.

Dear Mr. Robotham,

During a telephone conversation with Mr. Worth he mentioned that you were disappointed in not hearing from me concerning the various points raised during our last conversation. I am accordingly dropping you this line to let me know that both matters have, as far as possible at the moment, been dealt with.

Firstly, the Light Alloy Brake Drums. I have discussed this matter fully with Mr. Heron of Hiduminium Engineering, who has in his possession several samples which he intends to bring up with him when he next visits Rolls Royce. I shall myself endeavour to be present at the same time.

Secondly, the Park Ward Body. I have had this matter entirely thrashed out with Mr. Bertelli of Templewood Engineering, and have a rather involved report in my possession which I would prefer you to read in its entirety and offer your comments, when I call to see you. I had arranged to see Mr. Worth yesterday, calling upon you almost immediately after, but unfortunately Mr. Herrington has temporarily transferred me to the Redditch Works, and that arrangement had to be cancelled. I am, however, endeavouring to allocate a certain proportion of my time here to outside work, and I hope in the very near future, will be able to arrange an appointment with you for myself and Mr. Heron, to put before you our findings on both these matters.

I would apologise most profoundly if you consider that I have been at all dilatory in contacting you, but I must plead the usual excuse nowadays of an enormous amount to do and very little time to do it in, but you may rest assured

Cont'd.{John DeLooze - Company Secretary}
