Toledo Woodhead Spring Co.Ltd.,
Toledo Steel Works,
SHEFFIELD.1.

For the attention of Mr. Frank Woodhead.
Leaf Springs.

Dear Sirs,

We are considering using a 56" spring in place of our existing 50" spring FB.4271. This contemplated spring would still have a 7" deflection under 1000 lb. load with 6½" free camber.

Before we order a pair however we would like to know what increase in weight there will be if any, due to the increase in length.

Yours faithfully,

FOR ROLLS-ROYCE LTD.
