[Handwritten] Car Plugs

Dear Mr. West,

I was exceedingly sorry to find you were away ill when I called on Thursday last, and I sincerely hope you are quite fit again by now.

Referring to my call upon you on the 5th instant when you raised the question of a washer plug for your 25 h.p. production engine, in conversation with Major Carington on Saturday morning I learned from him that he had already been in communication with you on this subject.

I have now looked up correspondence and find that in his letter of the 9th January he submitted to you some type LKS6 and suggested that you should try our type 850 provided it would suit the cylinder head as far as the external dimensions were concerned.

I hope to be in Derby next week when we can go into the matter further, but in the meantime perhaps you will kindly put on test some type 850 plugs so that we can have some information available.

Yours sincerely,
[Signature] R.A.G Mundy
