Dear Fowler Clark,

Thanks for yours of the 31st ult. I think I agree with you and agree with the views you put up to Mr. Royce. I am glad to see that he has been amenable to the auto switch and the result of your further test will be very interesting. I think I also agree that the auto switch should not cut the charge off altogether and that a small charge from it, as you are arranging, is better.
