Your Ref: SWS/1901819 Our Ref: CWN/mmm 6th January 1919. Messrs. Rolls-Royce Ltd., Nightingale Road, DERBY. Dear Sirs, FOR THE ATTENTION OF MR. E.{Mr Elliott - Chief Engineer} FOWLERCLARK: We beg to thank you for your favour of the 21st. inst. addressed to Messrs. Trier & Martin of Camberwell. Perhaps you will kindly note for future guidance that we have taken over this Company since 1915 in order that we might better cater for motor manufacturers' requirements in Lighting & Starting Sets. You will probably be aware that although we have handled the Trier & Martin Lighting Set for the past few years, we have not been the actual manufacturers, and in order that we might quote prices to interest manufacturers, it is necessary to cut out intermediate profits. We have been in communication with your Mr. Cowan from time to time at the London Depot, and that gentleman very kindly promised to notify us just as soon as you were in a position to discuss post-war Equipment. We may state that we are offering a very complete range of accessories, principal amongst which are the Lighting & Starting Equipment, speedometer, watch, etc- | ||
