- 2 - E.C/HP.8.11.34. Minor. (1) Absence of excessive heat in front seats. (2) Lower and more modern appearance without sacrifice of interior height. (3) Stiffer frame ensuring more lasting body work. (4) Less overall weight making for improved control and handling. (5) Better road holding with low rating front springing and reduction of unsprung weight. (6) Oil temperature control, warming oil for starting and controlling upper limit of temperature, prolonging life of engine. (7) Wide frame improving rear seat comfort and width, without excessive height. (8) Separately mounted gearbox, avoiding gear lever movement and noise. (9) Quicker heating up of engine with thermostatic bypass control. (10) Less sponge in braking mechanism, promoting more selective braking and longer life between adjustments. (11) Separate fuses on head lamps to avoid risk of complete black out. (12) Master switch on switchbox ensuring safety from fire in subsidiary circuits and preventing interference with starter etc. when parked. (13) Accessible oil drain cock for changing crankcase oil. (14) Automatic ignition carburation control not yet completed. (15) Spring locked water drain tap. (16) Petrol system arranged to avoid gas lock under extreme conditions with reserve cock readily accessible to driver. x. | ||
