RECEIVED from E.{Mr Elliott - Chief Engineer} to D.J. c. to Ner. c. to Hs.{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair} c. to Fmc. P.W.L.T. DEPT. MAIL ROOM 8 OCT 1935 ORIGINAL 2 E2/M19.1.22. X.4883 GOSHAWK 11. DYNAMO. Lec. 151q. We expect by now that you have received further copy of above drawing, shewing the completion of the scheme. With regard to the lubrication of the dynamo bearings we had at first intended that this should take place at the same time as the couplings were lubricated, and that the operator should squirt with a syringe into a hole shewn leading into the idle key-way of the coupling. This however may not be very satisfactory and it seems better to fit a lubricator to each dynamo bearing, retaining the existing one at the rear end within the cover, and adding a similar lubricator to the front end as shewn in the sketch attached. (Lec 151q.) Would you kindly instruct this point. E.{Mr Elliott - Chief Engineer} | ||
