R1/M17.11.24.
SPECIFICATIONS FOR E.A.C. CHASSIS.
X. 8770
X. 9770

(A) CONVERSION CHASSIS.

(For 'U' Series and earlier, for 'V' series
or part of 'V' series, or none of 'V' series.)

(1) Retain present bonnet, dash, and radiator, as 'U' series.
(2) Alter bottom tank.
(3) Fit shutters.
(4) Alter autovac.
(5) Retain steering box, but longer tubes.
(6) Alter magneto on EAC.2.
(7) Use from old engine: - Battery ignition, dynamo, magneto, fan? exhaust boxes and main exhaust pipe.
(8) Make only such alterations as are absolutely unavoidable.

(B) IMPROVED 'V' CHASSIS.

(If not exactly as conversion chassis.)

(1) Present frame, front and back axles, springs, and brakes.
(2) But owing to pressing requirement for sub-frame and improved appearance, it is desired to use EAC.2. dash and bonnet, radiator and gearbox.
(3) Therefore with the exceptions mentioned above this will be EAC.2. almost exactly.
(4) The doubtful point is the steering which I think had better be changed to EAC.2.
(5) This 'V' chassis can represent at any or all times and EAC.2. chassis (except for starter).
(6) 'V' series to have present starter.
