| 281 Rm{William Robotham - Chief Engineer} To AA{D. Abbot-Anderson} from Sg.{Arthur F. Sidgreaves - MD} Copy to H.{Arthur M. Hanbury - Head Complaints} Rm.{William Robotham - Chief Engineer} re Mr.W.Henderson-Gray. Sg{Arthur F. Sidgreaves - MD}7/E23.10.36 Referring to your note AA{D. Abbot-Anderson}22/GW.22.10.36, I do not know what Rm{William Robotham - Chief Engineer}'s view is but I should imagine that we were not interested in this turbo drive unless or until we can see and try it on an actual car. To see an experimental thing of this sort running on a bench is to my mind quite useless and we are not prepared to do the development side of it, that is to say, make it function on a car. I assume you will communicate these views to Mr.Henderson-Gray. Sg{Arthur F. Sidgreaves - MD} | ||
