With reference to the attached, can you let me have the information "S" is supposed to have received as to various qualities of Benzol as this has not reached me for the many customers making enquiries.

For your information, it was owing to the deleterious effects of many brands of Benzol on the copper parts of our petrol supply, especially the gauze filter, that W. early this year said they were testing the different types of benzol with a view to recommending those that were good.

It is a very common thing now to find petrol tank filters entirely eaten away and unserviceable, and, therefore, if Works have any knowledge as to which are the bad brands of benzol we ought to have it urgently.
