ORIGINAL D R3/P 3. 5. 14. To J.{Mr Johnson W.M.} from R.{Sir Henry Royce} Copy to E.{Mr Elliott - Chief Engineer} Copy to EP.{G. Eric Platford - Chief Quality Engineer} Divus 27.5.14 RECEIVED 6 MAY 1914 BONNETS With reference to shuttered bonnets, as this is not as efficient as the louvred bonnet, I suggest that we put shutters at each end for a trial. I am very anxious to do away with the louvred bonnet. I consider we are spoiling the car more by being too cool in winter, even in this district! There is more trouble now that we should have by the present 2" larger fan and shuttered bonnet. R.{Sir Henry Royce} [Handwritten notes] x.585 Mr Wormald Noted I think this note shows interest. We believe he is working on the above. EP{G. Eric Platford - Chief Quality Engineer} 6/5/14 [Stamp] B RECEIVED 27 MAY 1914 | ||
